User Guide
An illustrated guide to connections, controls and everyday use: playing patches, recording audio, creating loops, managing files and updating the firmware.

LILLA brings together sampling, sound design and hands-on performance. Record new material, load your own sounds, build layered patches and reshape audio in real time. Explore a wide range of sonic possibilities with filters, compressors, delays and modulation tools, from subtle refinements to radical sound transformations.
Its firmware is open-source. Each physical instrument is handcrafted and assembled in Italy, individually and in small quantities.
Build layers, keyboard splits and multitimbral setups with up to eight sounds per patch and 16 shared playback voices. Give each sound its own MIDI channel and keyboard range, then shape it with trimming, envelopes, filters and modulation.
Play samples forwards, backwards or in loops, and save your edits as a new patch or a variation.
Record the line input in mono or stereo to internal Flash memory. Monitor the source, set the input level and capture an instrument, voice or phrase, then audition the result and turn it into a playable sound.
Export recordings to microSD as 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV files for editing, sharing or archiving.
Explore incoming audio in a continuously recorded circular buffer. Select and loop a region, move its playback start and use feedback to recapture and transform earlier material.
Capture selected regions into sound slots and save the patch to keep them in Flash memory.
Build repeating arrangements on four MIDI tracks played through the current patch. The first track sets the loop length; add parts, start or stop tracks independently, and adjust their level, timing and transposition.
Change the patch to reshape the arrangement without recording the notes again, then save your loops to microSD.
